Chey's low toxin tips for health and wellness in 2019
In the New Year I’d like to challenge people to start thinking about their toxic load and ways in which it can be reduced. We’re exposed to so many toxins and harmful chemicals each day and our bodies are not happy about it! Hence why we start developing sinus issues or skin irritations or headaches etc.

Pull those toxins out

Another area that holds a lot of toxins is the mouth! It bares the brunt of any chemicals we put in our bodies from the food and drink we consume but if we oil pull with something like Oral Swishing Oil, we can pull these toxins out and expel them before they absorb back into the body. Not only does this lighten the toxic load on our system, it can also help to clear skin, freshen breath and whiten teeth.

Sweating is good for you

The first big switch to make in the New Year is leaving those chemical filled antiperspirants behind and replacing them with an all natural, aluminium free alternative like Axilla Deodorant Paste™. Our bodies actually need to sweat so allowing them to by using a deodorant without any nasty chemicals or sweat blockers means it can release the toxins it needs to get rid of and help balance your body’s temperature too.

Less is more

By lessening the number of times you need to wash your hair in a week you can also reduce your exposure to the toxins found in many shampoos. If you think about it, not only do you scrub the stuff into your scalp, it then runs down your entire body, down the drain and into our oceans. Dry Shampoo is a great way to lengthen the time between each wash and reduce your toxic load. Not only will it freshen your hair, but as a bonus it will also add volume and texture, plus the ingredients are actually really nourishing for the scalp.
