Why I started the brand
Hi I’m Chey Birch, Founder of Black Chicken Remedies. It was the year 2000 and I was living in Bondi Sydney. For years I suffered from irritated skin and sinus issues but nothing I used healed my symptoms. After seeing a naturopath for some much needed advice she suggested I take a good look at my life and the toxins I was unknowingly consuming. So, I did exactly that. It wasn’t until I looked at my soaps, cleansers and scrubs was I truly horrified. The ingredients in these products were synthetic and borderline toxic – and yet here I was lathering myself with these chemicals everyday. In hindsight it seems obvious my skin was trying to tell me something.

Buy it immediately, apply it immediately, sleep peacefully, wake up radiantly! This product takes BC to a new level. It’s as lush as the body oil and bath oil. Cannot live without.
I have used the Axilla paste for about 9 years and have added this to my kit. Not as economical as the paste but sparingly works just as well. I like this in summer, in particular, as it travels well whereas the paste goes very soft in heat.
My skin feels soft and glows after using this. A little early to notice any change in pigmentation but I am hopeful. It absorbs quickly and the smell is delightful. I use Vitamin C in the morning and Niacinamide Powder and Hyaluronic Serum at night. All amazing products
Hotness is a wonderful natural balm for muscle pain. I use it on my neck as the muscles there are always seized and this balm helps them to relax.
Just started using this and mix it with Hylauronic acid each morning. My skin has now got a healthy, hydrated glow. I love that it is natural!
