Beautiful scent. Lighter than the Nocturnalist oil. Skin absorbs it well and I even put sunscreen over the top and it’s not too oily.

I struggled with regular deodorant making my armpits itchy. After some googling, I decided to give Black Chicken Axilla deodorant paste for sensitive skin a go. The smell is fine, but more importantly, no more itchy armpits! It works too, I don't get stinky. (verified by my partner) Happy days. Will continue to buy.

I love everything about this brand and have been using their products for many years now. I used to stray occasionally but always felt disappointed so I don't anymore. The latest products have upped the game for me. I love the hyaluronic acid and I mix it with the niacinamide powder most of the time. I'm not sure what it does on its own, but combined, all the black chicken remedies facial products mean my skin is probably 20 years younger than the rest of me! Beauticians always comment on how great my skin is and ask me which of their products I use "none, I only use natural products from a brand called black chicken remedies - plus an SPF" (*eyes widen in surprise*)

I was looking for a powder dry shampoo instead of a spray, and really like the lightness and mild scent of this one. There is no powdery appearance in the hair, and it allows me to spread washes of my coloured hair out more. I can recommend it.

Why I started the brand
Hi I’m Chey Birch, Founder of Black Chicken Remedies. It was the year 2000 and I was living in Bondi Sydney. For years I suffered from irritated skin and sinus issues but nothing I used healed my symptoms. After seeing a naturopath for some much needed advice she suggested I take a good look at my life and the toxins I was unknowingly consuming. So, I did exactly that. It wasn’t until I looked at my soaps, cleansers and scrubs was I truly horrified. The ingredients in these products were synthetic and borderline toxic – and yet here I was lathering myself with these chemicals everyday. In hindsight it seems obvious my skin was trying to tell me something.
